This was the second year we took part in the event and it was a fantastic day with over 1,500 people coming to visit us at the farm.
There were various events taking place throughout the farm on the day including, tours of the dairy farm, a chance to meet the farm vets, pond dipping and nature trails. There was also the opportunity to meet lots of the farm animals including Chocy the donkey and see a sheep shearing demonstration. What’s more Caroline gave visitors an insight into how her ice cream was made and there was an abundance of refreshments and ice cream being enjoyed in the sunny garden.
Thank you again to everyone who came to see us and to all the helpers who gave up their time to help make the day a huge success! We are also very happy to announce we raised a total of £824 for our chosen charity, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust, through the sales of refreshments provided by M&S, Caroline’s Dairy ice cream and Rother Valley Organics as well as the raffle we ran.
